Hardware Haven
& the brands behind the videos.

Hardware Haven’s videos explore networking gear, odd adapters and server hardware through practical tests and homelab experiments. Private Internet Access appears in a video about unusual network adapters, where the host describes using the VPN on public Wi-Fi, Fedora and a Docker container. Server Part Deals appears in a storage-server build through drives supplied for testing, with the creator discussing refurbished enterprise hardware and its inspection process. These reads speak directly to an audience that builds and operates its own systems.

Hardware Haven links homelab tools to hands-on server builds

The brands, creative choices and product connections worth paying attention to.

PIA fits a creator who runs a homelab

During a discussion of multi-gigabit adapters, the host introduces Private Internet Access as a VPN he has used for nearly two years. He describes switching to it while on café Wi-Fi when his ISP connection began acting up, and says he also runs it on Fedora and through a Docker container in his home lab. The examples are unusually technical and personal to the channel.

The sponsor read also mentions servers in multiple countries, device coverage and the creator’s reference to independent audits of the no-logs policy. He then returns to the adapter comparison, so the VPN supports the same network-focused audience without becoming the subject of the episode.

Storage drives become part of the build

In a video about a budget storage server, Server Part Deals supplies a set of large-capacity hard drives and enterprise SSDs for testing. The host explains that refurbished and manufacturer-recertified drives can be a way to get more storage for the budget, and describes the seller’s testing process, packaging and shipping offer. He also notes that the chassis he has is not the JBOD setup he wanted, so the test will not show the drives in the intended configuration.

That detail gives the integration a candid workshop quality: the sponsor has supplied components, but the build has constraints and the creator explains them as they happen. He says he buys drives from the retailer himself and returns to testing the server.

Technical credibility comes from the real setup

PIA is described through a live network contingency and a Docker workflow; Server Part Deals is connected to an actual storage build, including a mismatch between the planned and available chassis. Both reads respect the audience’s interest in implementation. A tech campaign can gain specificity by showing how a product fits into a working lab, not only by listing capabilities.
