Sheshounet
& the brands behind the videos.

Sheshounet’s French-language gaming videos use absurd characters, quick satire and exaggerated reactions to review games. NordVPN appears in a Pokémon Scarlet/Violet review as a fictional creature with teleportation powers, and in a The Quarry video as a comic reconstruction of someone trying to access private data. The two reads turn the VPN’s location and privacy features into the premise of a joke before returning to gameplay commentary.

Sheshounet turns VPN features into mischievous gaming sketches

The brands, creative choices and product connections worth paying attention to.

NordVPN becomes a Pokémon with a teleport attack

In the Pokémon Scarlet/Violet review, Sheshounet interrupts his game critique to introduce “Nord BPN” as a Pokémon. The creature’s teleportation attack is used to joke about switching a connection to another region, and the host also mentions speed, data protection and access to streaming catalogs. The offer details are folded into the character bit before the game review resumes.

The sponsor becomes a literal part of the Pokémon universe: a made-up creature explains what a VPN does through the game’s own logic. This creates a recognizable transition without pausing the video for a formal presentation.

A privacy skit inside The Quarry commentary

At the start of a The Quarry review, Sheshounet stages a short scene in which a character tries to access someone else’s personal information. The NordVPN user responds by changing the apparent location with a click, turning the exchange into a fast joke about protecting data. The read also mentions regional streaming catalogs and the service’s offer before the host returns to the game.

The sketch is intentionally absurd, with a villain and a quick reversal rather than a realistic tutorial. That tone suits the channel’s parody style while still naming the service’s role in the scene.

Make the feature part of the joke

Both reads translate VPN functions into gaming comedy: teleporting between regions in Pokémon and evading a fictional snoop in The Quarry. The sponsor message stays understandable because the visual premise carries the explanation. Sheshounet’s approach suits campaigns that can build a simple, exaggerated gag around one product feature and then return promptly to the review.

The contrasting game settings give the creator two distinct comic devices: an in-world character and a quick sketch. Both keep the explanation short, visual and easy to follow before the gameplay returns.
