SmarterEveryDay
& the brands behind the videos.

SmarterEveryDay’s most distinctive sponsor integration is unusually transparent about the sponsor relationship. MVP supports a disc-golf aerodynamics episode, but Destin explains that the sponsor wanted viewers to enjoy the sport rather than deliver a conventional purchase pitch. The video follows his curiosity into disc design and measurement. A separate AnyDesk read in a nuclear-reactor episode describes a tool Destin says he used to control his editing computer while away with family. Together, the examples show two different creator-led treatments: an open scientific inquiry and a personal workflow story.

SmarterEveryDay makes scientific curiosity the core of a disc-golf sponsorship

The brands, creative choices and product connections worth paying attention to.

A sponsorship that funds an investigation

In the disc-golf episode, Destin explicitly says the video is sponsored by MVP and explains why he accepted: he likes the sport and the sponsor wanted him to talk about it. He then examines the overmolded disc, explains the company’s proposed mass-distribution theory, describes a prototype using copper powder and lighter inner material, and reports his own front-yard throws. He distinguishes those observations from expert evidence and says he wants to investigate further.

The ad therefore feels like an extension of the subject rather than a standard code-led endorsement. The sponsor’s stated wish was to grow enthusiasm for disc golf, while the episode’s strength comes from separating what is claimed about the design from what Destin personally observed. This is a strong reference for brands willing to support curiosity rather than script a verdict.

AnyDesk as an actual production workflow

During the reactor episode, Destin presents a handwritten list of reasons to use AnyDesk, then describes remote access to the computer editing that very video. He says the connection let him work from a beach during family break and mentions using the software for other computer tasks. The personal example makes remote control understandable in a way a generic platform list would not.

The pitch also names cross-platform use and invites viewers to try the free version. The story returns to the reactor training and tour immediately afterward. Its creative value is the visible creator workflow: editing continues while the host is away, without making the software part of the nuclear facility itself.

Two brief structures for technical audiences

MVP lets the sponsor become a reason to explore a question; AnyDesk lets a personal workflow illustrate a product. Both fit SmarterEveryDay’s curiosity, but they carry different factual responsibilities. A science-led partnership can show what is known, what the creator is testing and where the sponsor’s interest lies. A software read can show the specific task the creator performs.
