Switch and Click
& the brands behind the videos.

Switch and Click’s technology videos compare tools through their place in a real setup. Granola is presented during a self-hosting reflection as a way to search and interpret notes, including viewer comments and video ideas. Saily appears in a budget-phone discussion as a way to keep travel data separate from the cost of the device. The creator’s examples are practical and specific to workflows the audience can recognize.

Switch and Click connects self-hosting and phone reviews to useful apps

The brands, creative choices and product connections worth paying attention to.

Granola makes technical notes searchable

In “I Self-Hosted for a Year... Here’s What I’d Do Differently,” the creator explains that research notes can become hard to use after a setup project is complete. Granola is introduced as an AI-assisted notepad that can answer plain-language questions across notes. The host gives a concrete example of asking how a Jellyfin server was configured with Docker rather than searching for keywords.

The creator also collects viewer comments in a Granola note and adjusts a built-in recipe to look for blind spots in a planned topic. A second example is gathering scattered video ideas into a list. Those examples make the product’s role more legible than a general AI pitch: it helps turn stored notes into something the creator can revisit while planning future videos.

Saily fits the budget-phone travel problem

In a later video about whether a flagship phone is necessary, the creator notes that travel SIM cards or a fake card purchase could erase the savings from buying a budget device. Saily is introduced as an eSIM app: download it, choose a plan and use it while travelling. The reference to a travel companion who packs late keeps the explanation in the channel’s familiar conversational style.

The integration links a phone-buying topic to an everyday cost that arises after purchase. It gives the sponsor a second part of the device lifecycle: the phone may be affordable, and the data plan is another choice for a trip.

Show the task, not just the category

Both integrations name a problem before the sponsor: notes that are hard to retrieve, or travel connectivity that adds expense to a budget-phone trip. A brief can follow that structure and show the creator using the tool for one specific task. Granola belongs in research and video planning; Saily belongs in an actual travel setup.
