Jesse Michels
& the brands behind the videos.

Jesse Michels’ interview and investigation videos spend time with unusual stories, then insert sponsor reads that play with the subject before offering a practical product description. AG1 appears in an alien-abduction episode through a joke about chakras and a morning routine; ZBiotics is introduced during a conversation about an alleged alien council, with the host describing his pre-event habit. The story-led opening makes the ads feel native to the channel’s eccentric tone, while each product gets a distinct segment.

Jesse Michels blends sponsor reads into long-form conversations about unusual claims

The brands, creative choices and product connections worth paying attention to.

AG1 turns the alien premise into a self-care joke

In the abduction episode, the host jokes that drinking AG1 gave him dozens of chakras, then resets the bit and describes a simple morning habit: one scoop mixed with water. He names the drink’s product categories and preferred flavor before the call to action. The absurd joke borrows the episode’s cosmic subject without making a supernatural claim the product’s benefit.

The creative point is the quick turn from surreal humor to a routine a viewer can picture. A pitch can keep that rhythm: one episode-specific opening, then a concise description of the product and how the creator says he uses it.

ZBiotics arrives as a personal pre-event ritual

During a discussion of a CIA scientist and an alien council, the host pauses to talk about a product he says he uses before nights out. He describes ZBiotics as a pre-alcohol drink and recounts his own routine, then shares the sponsor’s explanation of its intended use. The segment uses personal habit and a plain-language mechanism before the interview returns to the subject of experiments.

That is a different tone from the AG1 joke: the read is earnest and experiential, positioned as a recurring personal choice rather than a surreal aside. A creator brief should make the product type and intended occasion clear and leave any health-oriented language within approved campaign wording.

Use the episode’s tone as an opening

The ads show two routes into Jesse’s style: comic exaggeration followed by a routine, or a serious conversation followed by a personal recommendation. In both cases, the sponsor appears during a deliberate pause and the episode’s story resumes afterward. The brand can benefit from the channel’s personality without becoming a substitute for the evidence discussed in the episode.
