PricklyAlpaca
& the brands behind the videos.

PricklyAlpaca’s craft and character-design videos show the thinking that happens before the finished object: collecting references, testing motifs and building a coherent design. Milanote is integrated as a visible planning workspace across a cloak project, while Squarespace appears as a portfolio and shop for finished character work. These are complementary stages of a creative process, not interchangeable endorsements.

PricklyAlpaca turns creative planning into an on-screen process

The brands, creative choices and product connections worth paying attention to.

How does Milanote become part of the project?

For a winter-cloak build, the creator describes a digital grimoire for research and planning, then demonstrates collecting inspiration, sorting it into boards, sketching ideas and assembling a main reference view. The boards preserve work on the cloak’s character, accessories and planned photoshoot. The pitch is unusually specific because the tool is shown doing the actual organizing work behind the craft project.

The read references saved images, web clipping, drawing tools and project templates as part of the workflow. Those details make the process easy to picture. A creative-tool brief can build around the same visible sequence: collect references, arrange them around a project and use the board while making the piece.

Where does the portfolio fit?

A Squarespace spot in a character-design challenge follows a similar creative thread: the artist is organizing character profiles on a portfolio site and describes galleries, embedded sketchbook videos, social links and an online store. It links the website to displaying iterative work and offering products, rather than treating web design as a separate tech tutorial.

A strong pitch can follow one project from inspiration board to finished portfolio entry. That gives a planning tool and a website platform distinct roles in the same creative journey: one helps organise the work, while the other presents the finished result.
